James A. Mitchell Award

In the first year after completing your Ordeal, set out to earn the James A. Mitchell Award. This is available exclusively to members of the Nentico Lodge who become active members of their Chapter and Lodge, while continuing to be active members of their Scouting unit. Find the requirements and application for the James A. Mitchell Award on the Nentico Lodge website.

Nentico Camping Award

The Order of the Arrow began at a Scout camp, and continues to thrive in the outdoors. Attend Summer camp, promote camping, and demonstrate a commitment to the outdoors and the Order of the Arrow, and you can earn the Nentico Camping Award.

Elangomat Award

Elangomat is the Lenape word for “friend.” In the Order of the Arrow, we use this term to refer to the leaders during Ordeals. You can serve as an Elangomat to help enrich the Ordeal experiences of new members. After serving as an Elangomat at least twice, you can apply for the Nentico Lodge Elangomat Award.

Nentico Centennial Award

This award can be earned by Arrowmen who actively participate in our collective recommitment to the principles of the Order of the Arrow during the Nentico Lodge’s 18-month Centennial celebration. Check out the requirements for the Nentico Centennial Award and much more information about our Centennial celebrations on the Lodge website.

Unit of Excellence Award

The Unit of Excellence Award recognizes units with a high degree of participation in the Order of the Arrow. This national award is available to units who meet requirements based on leadership, planning, activation, elections, and participation.
